Our Philosophy

The Canine Side

Our dogs naturally move with the energy of life way better than us. Our human systems disrupt the energy of life, and when our dogs aren’t equipped with regulation skills and guidance from a trusted leader, they lack the support they need to move through our disruptive world, and their resulting behavior becomes problematic for us. In order to bring peace to our dogs, we need to provide them with the structures they require as canines to develop regulation skills and resilience. This doesn’t happen by teaching tricks - it only happens by committing to understand the dog and moving from there.

The Human Side

There are two languages operating in dog-human relationships - ours and theirs. As the species with the power of rational thought, it’s our responsibility to learn our dogs’ language and communicate from there before throwing our verbal language into the mix. Dogs communicate through energy, body language, and pressure/release, and our work with them is far more impactful when we begin communication in their way. Humans tend to tune out the nonverbal pieces. As we tune back in, we realize our languages aren’t so different after all.

I work with anyone looking to strengthen the connection between themselves and their dogs! I’ve helped folks from all walks of life with all kinds of doggie problems from over-excitement and destructive behavior to leash reactivity and aggression. My clients all have one thing in common - the desire to create the best life possible with their dogs!
I am proud to be one of few sliding scale dog training services in the country. With my sliding scale, you pay what you can within the range each time we meet. Sliding scales create room for accessibility in an industry where historically there is none. I strive to find the balance between charging a fair rate for myself and keeping my services accessible to as many as possible!
Private Sessions: $150-200
Pack Walks: $50/walk, packages available
Boarding (PRIVATE SESSION AND PACK WALK CLIENTS ONLY): $60/day
